Tara grew up in Alhambra, California. After graduating from UCLA in Art History, she attended graduate school and relocated to the East Coast. After returning to Southern California, Tara earned her dental hygiene degree at Cypress College and has been a dental hygienist for 12 years. She is personally committed to the oral health of her patients by providing exceptional care to all her patients and sharing her dental knowledge with them.
Tara loves to spend time with her nieces and nephew, whether going to the movies or browsing antique shops. One of her favorite thing to do is collecting Mid-Century furniture. Most weekends, she also goes hiking with friends.
Her passion in life is to help the underserved people. She had in the past and continues to provide her dental skills at orphanages in Cambodia and the rural minorities in China. Her other joy in life is visiting countries and people around the world with her family.
Katie Worley, R.D.A., R.D.H.
Katie started as a dental assistant in 2001 and became an R.D.A and worked as an assistant until 2008 when she graduated hygiene school. She has been working as an R.D.H. since 2008.
Katie likes developing relationships with patients and educating them about their oral health. A good, clean mouth makes her feel accomplished. Katie grew up in Camarillo, California, and enjoys spending time with her three kids and going to Disneyland.
She finds her passion and joy in life comes from focusing a lot on what brings her happiness. She has a lot of love for her family and enjoys trying new things, from food to new skills.
Dee Dee Welch, R.D.H.
A native of California, Dee Dee has worked for over 31 years as a hygienist after graduating from Loma Linda’s Dental School of Hygiene. She has known Dr. Chee for the last 13 years.
Dee Dee has an enthusiastic, friendly and caring approach to her patients and hygiene. She sees that she is instrumental in improving the health of her patients, and enjoys getting to know them and their families throughout the years.
Dee Dee finds joy and purpose in life when she makes a difference in other people’s lives. In her free time, she enjoys Bible study with friends, yoga classes and traveling near and far with her family.
Judy Mori, R.D.A.
Judy has been in the dental field for 30 years. Even though she has only been with Dr. Chee for three years, she fits in like family and oversees the back office. Judy grew up in Monterey Park, moved to Long Beach and settled in Fountain Valley after she married. Ever the foodie, she engages patients in mouthwatering conversations during their appointments. She loves getting to know patients and creating a dental family and helping them overcome any dental anxiety they may have.
Judy loves working for Dr. Chee and considers her the kindest, most caring compassionate dentist and considers herself fortunate to be a part of the team. In her spare time, Judy’s passions include her family and love of animals. She loves spending time with family and friends, having backyard get-togethers and barbecuing, taking road trips, gardening, trying new restaurants and tending to her animals. If she could, Judy would love to see all dogs rescued and find forever homes.
Vanessa Tran, R.D.A.
Vanessa has been an R.D.A. since 1992 and has worked with Dr. Chee for nearly 10 years in another office. Vanessa was born in Vietnam, however, she has been in this country since she was 9.
Vanessa enjoys being an R.D.A. because she gets to educate and help patients so that they can have a healthy mouth and enjoy life with their teeth. Her passion for life is good food and friendship, and the joy in her life is her son Ethan, her husband and her family.
In her free time, Vanessa likes to workout and spend time with her family.
Quynh Ngyuen, Dental Assistant
Quynh (Quinn) grew up in Temecula and has recently become a dental assistant after previously working as a hospice pharmacy technician, and is currently studying for her Registered Dental Assistant boards this summer. Making the shift to dentistry was a natural choice because she wants to continue giving people a helping hand while providing quality patient care. She appreciates getting to know her patients and building a strong relationship with them as well as educating them about oral care and seeing their progress.
Quynh finds joy in her life knowing that people can trust her and see them feel good about themselves and build their confidence through her dedication to their oral care. When she’s away from the office, Quynh loves to spend time outdoors, hiking, reading, shopping and spending time with her nieces.
